Unique SE Portland home with a modern-retro feel. The owner had the home professionally staged. This home sold and closed last month at $357,000.
I really need a stager to just come in and stage my own home.
The owner was there when I took these photos. He said he and his 2 brothers grew up in this house. It is 738 sq ft. 2 bedrooms. I assume the boys had to play outside a lot to keep mom from losing her sanity.....
Listed for $239,900 and has a sale pending on it.
This large, custom home sits across from a beautiful community park. The home is listed at $475,000. and has an accepted offer on it. I loved shooting this home. The owner went to school for interior design, and you can tell.
Fun fact about this home: Every single square inch of the home has been sheetrocked and painted. There are cubbies in bedrooms and unexpected places. It would be the BEST place to play a game of Hide-and-Seek or Sardines!
Big things come in small packages, and this home is definitely larger than it appears.
I love the opportunities I have to collect decorating ideas!
Cozy, but spacious living room.
Upstairs bedroom, with 2 finished spaces within it. Each space has it's own carpeting, lights and outlets. The one on the left is large enough for a mattress and desk, (see the photo following this one) the room on the right is perfect for a reading nook, and has a window that looks into the room on the left.
This basement bedroom comes with built-ins and large cubby holes. The walk in closet also has built-ins and additional cubbies.
2nd Living and Kitchen downstairs
Supposedly this home is under 3,000 sq ft, but it feels much larger than that!
Sometimes, even professional photography can't improve the look of a home. However, for somebody with a vision, this is going to be a great home! Originally listed at $160,000...this home is now off the market and probably being refurbished before going back up for sale again.
Real Estate Photography isn't all fun and games. Sometimes it's a little scary. This home had old, rotting food in the bedroom closets, and floors that were rotten all the way through.
Fun fact about this garage/family room: You can't see it in the photo, but apparently it became somewhat of a message board for the neighborhood. There are names, phone numbers and message written in several places.
I love the floor plan in this home! It counts as a ranch style home, and is mostly on one level, but there is a step or 4 up to the family room, which has a slider to the covered and screened sun porch. Perfect for the Pacific NW! This almost 1400 sq ft home is located at 6408 NE 88th, Ave., Vancouver, Washington and was listed for $259,900. As you can imagine, it has an accepted offer on it, and will be closing soon. These photos are from April 18th.
Yeah, I'm that far behind on blogging....
