Fun fact about this photo shoot:
When I was in Junior High, all the kids in the TAG program did a huge project on "Historic Oregon City". We were each assigned a number of homes to research. One of the homes I researched was The Pease House. This was back in the days before the internet, so we used the Oregon City Library, and the College Library to do our research. Remember "Microfiche"? I remember searching on the machines for old newspaper articles. I have absolutely no memory of what I actually wrote in my report, but a little internet searching tells us that the home was built in 1889 and the garage was added in the 1920's.
This home is now listed for $235,000. It needs some cosmetic attention, but overall is in wonderful condition.
Some fresh paint and attention to the floors would quickly bring back the original charm.
The current owner pulled up the carpet in this room to find this floor, in excellent condition.
New flooring in the kitchen.
3 bedrooms upstairs
So much life has been lived in this wonderful old home. Even though it needs some love, this home
is in great condition considering it is going on 128 years old. I can only hope I age this well!
